Eleanor Dutka (nee Snyder), a longtime resident of Calumet City, IL and late of Niles, MI, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015. She is the loving mother of Susan (Michael) Quinn, Marty (Lori) Dutka and Christine (Tim) Koktsidis; proud grandmother of Matt (Rita) Eskew, Katie (Ross) McMullin, Alex Quinn, Megan (Anthony) Ramos, Christina Quinn and Elizabeth Quinn; and great-grandma (G.G.) of Gracie McMullin and A.J. Ramos. Preceded in death by son, Walter M. Dutka Jr., and beloved husband Walter M. Dutka.
Eleanor worked for years in the bookkeeping department of the Bank of Lansing. Upon retirement, she and her loving husband moved to the lake in Niles, where lots of wonderful memories were made. She loved to read, was an avid Bears fan and kept up with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on her iPad. She loved to talk and was a friend to many.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and is now in a better place free of pain and suffering.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church: 768 Lincoln Avenue, Calumet City, IL 60409 on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment services at Holy Cross Cemetery.
