Timothy Alan Alkire, age 70, of Lynwood, Illinois and originally of St. John, IN, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026 in Munster, Indiana. He was born to the late Robert and Delores Alkire on March 8, 1955 in Hammond, Indiana. Timothy is survived by his devoted wife Debra, his three sons, and his cherished grandchildren. Tim also leaves behind his three loving sisters, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

A master carpenter by trade, Tim spent decades creating handcrafted work that spoke to his skill, integrity, and attention to detail. Friends and family admired not only his craftsmanship but the care he poured into every project. Outside of work, he loved restoring old‑school cars in his younger years, riding motorcycles, and spending quiet days fishing. Those who knew him remember his warm humor and steady presence.
