Shirley M. Courtney (née Regnier), age 86, of Hammond, Indiana passed away January 1, 2022. She was born to the late George and Marie Regnier on January 31, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. She is also preceded in death by her husband Eugene F. Courtney and daughter Kelly Courtney. Shirley is survived by her beloved children: Catherine (Bill) Duerr, Karen Courtney, Colleen (Carl) Russell and Jeanie Hernandez; adored grandchildren: Rachel (Scott) Verhoeve, Marty (Jessica) Hernandez and Chuck (Christy) Duerr; precious great-grandchildren: Madison and Evelyn Verhoeve, Kaleigh and Raelyn Hernandez, Caden and Chayse Duerr; numerous dear nieces and nephews.

Private arrangements entrusted to Castle Hill Funeral Home of Dyer, Indiana.
