Obituary
Rosemary Muniz (nee Pineda), age 60, of Gary, Indiana, passed away on April 15, 2022. She is survived by her husband Alberto Muniz, Sr.; Children: Jose R. Rodriguez; Jose P. Rodriguez; Domingo Rodriguez; Alberto Muniz, Jr., Bernardo Muniz, Elizabeth, Madison, Alex and Aden Muniz; Granddaughters: Mercedes, Emilia and Emma Reese Muniz. Sisters Hilda and Maria E. Pineda; Brothers Billy Pineda and Ronald (Xiaohua) Pineda; Sisters-in-law Nancy Pineda and Myriam Pineda. Rosemary is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents Domingo and Maria Pineda; brother Domingo Pineda, daughter Maria Rodriguez.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rosemary’s life on Friday, May 6, 2022 at St. Ann’s Church: 6025 W. 25th Avenue, Gary, Indiana 46406 with a Memorial Mass at 12:00 Noon with Father Mens officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 am to time of service.
Rosemary was a graduate of Bishop Noll Institute and St. Mary’s of the Wood College. She was President of the St. Ann Church Rosary Sodality and President of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
