Ronald J. Szczecina Sr.

Ronald J. Szczecina Sr., age 78, of Lansing, Illinois passed away September 2, 2024. He was born to John and Helen (née Opyt) Szczecina on March 28, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. Ronald is survived by his loving children: Ronald Jr. (Holly), Traci (Dave), Kim (Dan), Keri-Lynn and stepchildren: John (Kim), Giselle (Rich), Mireille and Brian (Jackie); 21 cherished grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia, son Jon and step-son Dustin.

Funeral Services will be Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 with Father Ronald Kondziolka officiating followed by Interment Services with Military Honors at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Ronald honorably served in the United States Army.
