It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of Roger Dale Baldwin on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the age of 78 at Porter Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born on March 21, 1946 in Du Quoin, Illinois to Herbert Franklin Baldwin Sr. and Nellie (Brown) Baldwin who proceeded him in death along with his sisters Doris “Kay” Rigg and Barbara “Sue” Adkins.

Roger is survived by his loving wife Pamela Baldwin, his three sons, Jeffrey (Susan), Gregory, and Christian (Christina), along with his grandchildren, Garrett, Gavin, Adelyn, and Alyse.

His brother Herbert “Bud” Franklin Baldwin Jr. survives along with other loving family members and friends.

Roger graduated from Hebron High School in 1966. He was a Vietnam Army veteran.

Roger worked for NIPSCO for 32 years. He loved to be out on the lake in his boat fishing. Roger was a dedicated family man. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for his family. He will be greatly missed. 

A private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Roger’s memory.
