Regina Sue Zieba (née Perkins)

Regina Zieba, 74, of Sierra Vista, passed away on July 24, 2023 in Tucson, AZ.

Regina was born on January 8, 1949 to Chesley Patrick and Ruth Perkins in West Liberty, Kentucky. She attended high school at Hammond Tech in Hammond, Indiana and was part of the graduating class of 1966.  Regina worked as a steelworker for Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana. In April 1970, she married Alex M. Zieba in Indiana. To this union they had one son, Erik. Regina lived in Hammond for the most of her life, in 2019 she moved to Sierra Vista to be closer to her son.

She was a member of the Ridgewood Townhomes Owners Association, INC. where she served as President before moving to Arizona. Regina was also a member of the U.S.W.A. Local 1010 during her time with Inland Steel. Most of all Regina enjoyed cooking, music, donating to charitable causes, collecting jewelry and getting together with her family and friends.

Regina is survived by loving son, Erik (Ingried) Zieba of Sierra Vista; two sisters Sandra Worthy and Kimberly (Mark) Wieneke; two grandchildren: Gabriel and Derrick Zieba; one niece Jessica (Andy) Lusby and two nephews: Matthew (Jess) Wieneke and Mark (Kelly) Wieneke II.

Family and friends will celebrate her life on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 with a Memorial Service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
