Pauline Postma-Alcumbrac (nee Wiers) Obituary

Pauline Postma-Alcumbrac, 84, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of April 26, 2026. She was born on March 25, 1942, and lived a life marked by deep love for her family and treasured friendships.


Pauline had a special place in her heart for animals, especially horses, and her beloved dog, Precious, who was a constant companion. She found comfort and enjoyment in watching old movies.


She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Alcumbrac; her children, Sheri Postma and Brad Postma (spouse Lara); her stepchildren, Beth Noles and Ronald A. Alcumbrac (spouse Wendy); her grandchildren, Edward Postma, Trent Postma, and Max Miller; and her step grandchildren, Samuel Alcumbrac, James Ross Noles, and Sarah Anne Smith (spouse Chris).


Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Henrietta Wiers; her brother, Thomas Wiers; and her step grandson, Benjamin Alcumbrac.


A visitation will be held on May 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 followed by a 12:00 noon service officiated at the funeral home by Pastor Jerry McQuay of Disciples Church, Tinley Park Illinois and Interment Services at Memory Lane Memorial Park in Schererville, Indiana.


Pauline lived a full life and will be remembered by her family and those who knew her.
