Patricia Kathryn “Patty Kay” (Hall, McNabney) Castongia, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on August 6, 1942, to William and Kathryn Hall, Patricia grew up in a close-knit family and graduated from Lowell High School in 1960. She dedicated much of her life to her career in dentistry, where her kindness, gentle spirit, and care for others touched countless lives.

Patty Kay’s life was centered around family and love. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was the heart of many family gatherings. Her warm smile, sense of humor, and compassionate heart made everyone feel welcome and valued.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathryn Hall; her beloved husband, Bernie F. Castongia; her son, William K. McNabney; her daughter, Kelly S. Gray; her siblings, William “Bill”, Barbara “June”, Michael, James, Gary and grandson, Travis.

Patricia is survived by her son, Steven (Angela) McNabney; her brothers Richard “Rick” (Laura) Hall and George “Bud” (Deborah) Hall; her stepsons, Larry (Gwen) Castongia, James Castongia; stepdaughters, Kathy (Tom) Whaley, and Nancy Nelson; grandchildren, Kati, Sadie, Joseph, Hollie, Steven Jr, Bradley, Jennifer, Kyle, Blaine, and Reese; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Patty Kay will be remembered for her unwavering love, her strength, and her ability to bring light and laughter to those around her. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with so many loved ones who went before her.

Her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
