Patricia A. Pelter, 88, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Tyrone, PA, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024, following an extended illness. She was born in Greenwood, PA on August 24, 1935, a daughter of Cloyd M. and Carrie M. (née Hite) Shope. On September 18, 1954, in Bellwood, PA, she married Earl H. Pelter, who died August 6, 1992.

Surviving is son Michael (Libbie) of Schererville, IN; granddaughter Charlyn (Mike) De Witt of Sacramento, CA; great-granddaughter Allison De Witt; and two brothers: James of St. Clairsville, OH and Richard (Ginny) of Allentown, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant son.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 2 to 6 pm at the Castle Hill Funeral Home in Dyer, IN, with the service starting at 5 pm. Burial will be beside her husband in Logan Vally Cemetery, Bellwood, PA.
