Oralia Maria Mendez, age 51, of Hammond, Indiana passed away May 10, 2024 in Jalpa  Mexico. Oralia was born to Cruz Mendez and Maria Robles on October 29, 1972 in Mexico. She is survived by her beloved husband Guadalupe Lopez; cherished children: Claudia (Antonio Perez) Soto, Jose (Monica Rostro) Soto, Angelica (Manny Quinteio) Soto, Alma (Critovao Serna) Soto and Adriana Soto; adored grandchildren: Rosendo, Emilia and Valeria Perez, Natalia Soto, Cristovao Serna.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 23, 2024 directly at St Anthony Of Padua Catholic Church: 11533 S Prairie Ave, Chicago, IL 60628 with a Mass of Christian Burial officiated at 10:00 a.m. followed by Interment Services at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois. Visitation will be Wednesday at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248-155th Place Calumet City, Illinois from 3-8pm and Thursday morning directly at the church from 9-9:45am.
