Nicholas W. Hilton “Nick”, age 60 of Merrillville, Indiana formerly of (Bridgeport) Chicago, Illinois. Beloved husband of Carrie "Frances" (Root) Hilton, loving father to Holly Ann Hilton (Kyle Griffin), dear brother to Lynnette Panjan & Sidney Hilton, beloved son of Jerome & Mary Hilton. Close cousin to Edward Lyons. Brother in law to the late Mike Root (Tammy Eigenbauer), the late Melanie Radick, Philip (Tara Pacella), Roger (Karen) Blanton, Harvetta (the late Danny) Hayes, Tommy (Nancy) Blanton, the late Pamela (Philip) Principe, Linda (John) Leger, David (Cordelia) Root, the late Bill (Jean) Root, dear son in law to Russell and Carrie Root, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by many.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to be held at the Chicago Bridgeport VFW Post 5079: 3202 S. May Street Chicago, IL 60608.
