Michelle Locquiao Sorge, age 45, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away on August 3, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Hawaii to Navarro Ogaya Locquiao and the late Imelda D. Cadiente, Michelle was a loving and giving person, known for her warm spirit and her passion for cooking, arts and crafts, and bingo. She especially cherished her beloved dog, Hazel.

Michelle’s generosity knew no bounds, continuing even after her passing through the selfless gift of organ donation. Her final act of kindness has touched the lives of countless individuals, many of whom never had the privilege of knowing her, but will forever be grateful for the life she helped give them.

She is survived by her husband, William Sorge Jr.; father Navarro (Annabelle) Ogaya Locquiao.; father-in-law, William Sorge Sr.; mother-in-law, Candy Camarena-Whittingham; stepchildren, Tony Sorge, Hailey (Blade) Bowe, and Lauryn; and grandchildren, Layton, Raven, and Jackson. Michelle also leaves behind her siblings, Melanie (Osbaldo) Alvarez, Melissa Sue Daguio Locquiao, Kristine Joyce Locquiao and Navarro Daguio Locquiao Jr.; brothers-in-law, Mike (Kim) Camarena and Matt Camarena; and sister-in-law, Jenn (Steve) Kuchar.

A funeral service for Michelle will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Castle Hill Funeral Home, 1219 Sheffield Ave, Dyer, IN 46311. Visitation will be held the same day from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
