Michael Aaron Brezene, life-long resident of Dyer, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2021 in Chicago, Illinois where he resided for many years. At his passing, Michael was 36 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Vivian, his sister, Rachel Michelle Farrell (Scott), beloved daughter, Ashlynn Taylor Brezene, several cousins from Texas, and immediate family from Pennslyvania. He was preceded in death by his father Mike James Brezene, and grandmothers’ Mary Jane Brezene and Ruth Leavey.
Michael was born on January 26, 1985 in Harvey, Illinois. He graduated from Lake Central HS in St. John, Indiana, class of 2003. Michael also attended Ivy Tech Community College in East Chicago for Auto Mechanics. He transferred to Vincennes University and attended classes in the Aviation Mechanics area of study.
Michael was a devoted father, exceptional son and loyal little brother. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family and enjoyed the carefree amenities of the Chicago area. He loved concerts in the park, art shows, enjoying different types of foods, and sunsets on the beach were his favorite ways to relax.
As a spiritual man, Michael was interested in many religious philosophies. He was known to attend and visit many different churches, synagogues and temples. Michael will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Per his request, a private family, “Celebration of Life” will be held and family members notified in the near future of the details.
