Margaret R. Michel, age 77, of Calumet City, Illinois passed away at her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was born to Bruno and Charlotte Stosur on June 27, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband Marc L. Michel; cherished children: Matthew (wife Ingrid) Michel, Mary (husband Tony) Rodriguez, Martin (wife Lisa) Michel, Peter Michel, Ellen (husband Nick) Mortier, Elizabeth Michel (fiance Alex Ruffolo), Maureen (husband Scott) Ciupak and Emily Michel; adored grandchildren: Mary Michel, Ella Michel, Maggie Michel, Quinn Michel, Moira Michel, Audrey Michel, Madeline Michel, Marc Michel, Nicholas Mortier, Henry Mortier, Thomas Mortier, Katherine Mortier, Charlie Ciupak, Mitchell Ciupak and Lucia Ciupak; dear sisters Violet Guinzio and Loretta Kempa.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 9:45 a.m. from Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248 155th Place, Calumet City, Illinois 60409 to St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial followed by Interment Services at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 8:45 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
