Marcel Lucian Pelletier

Marcel Lucian Pelletier, age 69, of Hammond, Indiana passed away August 20, 2024 in Griffith, Indiana. He was born to the late Philippe and Lucille (née Gagnon) Pelletier on April 15, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois.

Marcel is survived by his sisters and brother: Rachelle Prosk, Robert (Debbie) Pelletier and Therese (Mike) Liesenfelt; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Peggy Pelletier and brother Joseph (Sharon) Pelletier.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 with a Memorial Service from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Marcel was a Millwright at US Steel and also a Maintenance Mechanic at Phelps-Dodge. He really enjoyed taking cruises with his wife. His favorite were the Pyramids in Mexico. He enjoyed Sports, Bears and Bulls games, zip-lining, water rafting, camping and swimming with dolphins. Marcel liked technology, except for his phone.
