Lora A. Daniels

Lora A. Daniels, age 63, of St. John, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Lora was born and raised in Dolton, graduated from Thornridge High School, and spent much of her life living in St. John, Indiana. She was known for her caring heart, loyal friendships, and deep love for not only her beloved dogs but all dogs.

Lora was preceded in death by her father, Frank Daniels. She leaves behind cherished memories with her best friends, Terry Michalik and Susan Doty (nee Jackson); her mother, Sandra; and her mother-in-law, Char. She is also survived by her siblings, Mike (Kerry) Daniels, Frank (Kathi) Daniels, and Brian (Alexendra) Daniels; her nephews, Michael, Scott, and Kyle; her nieces, Kaitlyn Gunderson (Rhett), Ana, and Reya; as well as many extended family members, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

In lieu of a service or flowers, donations may be made to the St. John Animal Control located at 10650 White Oak Avenue in Dyer Indiana in honor of Lora’s lifelong love of dogs. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering friendship will be remembered always by her loved ones.
