Leslie Ann Struwin-Witt, 69 of Munster, Indiana passed away suddenly Friday, October 19th, 2018 at Community Hospital, Munster, IN.

Leslie was born January 26, 1949 in Hong Kong, China. She came to United States at age 10. She is the daughter of Harold and Ivadora Struwin. Leslie was a graduate of Southport High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. During High School, she attended Our Lady of Grace Monastery Academy in Indianapolis, Indiana. She loved vacationing to exotic places, especially Hong Kong, the Caribbean and Tahiti. She loved being on the water, especially along the shores of Lake Michigan and fishing in the ocean. Most importantly, she loved her family and close friends.

Leslie is survived by her son: Tosh (Rebecca) Struwin of Benton Harbor, Michigan; her two granddaughters Emma Marie Jordan-Struwin, and Claire Sue-Ann Jordan-Struwin of Jackson, Michigan: her brother Jack (Susan) Struwin of Saint Joseph, Michigan; her nephew Michael (Amy) Struwin of Stevensville, Michigan; and niece Rachel Struwin of Saint Joseph, Michigan. Her dearest friends: Dr. Karl (April) Schwarz of Dyer, Indiana; and Sister Louise Hoeing of Beech Grove, Indiana. Leslie was lovingly referred to as “Madame” by her countless friends and acquaintances in Northwest, Indiana. Leslie is preceded in passing by her father Harold Struwin, her mother Ivadora Chase-Struwin, and sister, Nancy Struwin-Prill.

Leslie will be cremated. The family will welcome friends from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M.; Sunday, November 4th at Hidden Pointe Banquet Hall (1062 Nickerson Avenue Benton Harbor, MIchigan) where a fellowship of family and friends to honor her memory will commence.
