Leonard was a successful small business owner in the Illinois/Indiana area for over 40 years.  Spurred by his desire to see the world, he established himself in the travel industry in 1974 when he founded Calumet City Travel.  In the years that followed, he also established LTC Excursions/Leonard’s Tours and Viva Las Vegas.  In 1991, he acquired Royal American Travel of South Holland, Illinois which he relocated first to Lansing and then to its current home in Dyer, Indiana.  Leonard loved sharing his love of travel by escorting groups of travelers to various places around the world.  New Zealand and Austalia were the only places he had never been.

Leonard was a long-time, active member of Saint Victor Church in Calumet City.  In addition to being a Deacon for many years, he also participated in their music ministry program as a member of the Glory Choir.  Leonard also appeared on a variety of community theatre stages throughout the area.  He lived life to the fullest and was happiest when he was socializing with family and friends.

Leonard leaves an indelible mark on the lives he touched and will forever smile down on everyone from heaven above.  Those who survive him are forever enriched for having had Leonard in their lives.
