Leonard E. Szewka, age 68, of Calumet City, Illinois passed away at his home on Sunday, July 19, 2026. He was born to the late Anthony J. and Violet (nee Kotlowski) Szewka on September 25, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois.
Leonard is survived by his beloved daughter Rachel (Gregory) Woods; dear sisters and brothers: Kathy (Larry) Black, Annette (Jim) Gregory, Anthony Szewka Jr., David (Mary Jane) Szewka and Gregory (Candace) Szewka; numerous special nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248 155th Place, Calumet City, Illinois 60409 with a visitation from 3-7 p.m.
Leonard honorably served in the United States Army. He loved his fish and dog, grilling and the Chicago White Sox.
