Laura Marie Ismar

Laura Marie Ismar age 33 of Norridge, Illinois passed away peacefully at her mothers residence in Hammond, Indiana on August 19, 2021.

Laura was diagnosed with Stage IV Bile Duct Cancer in March 2021.  During her five month struggle, Laura was determined but the fight became too big for her. Laura was such a bright light.  Rest easy my girl, know that you were loved and you will forever be missed.

She is survived by her loving mother Bernadine Ismar (nee Zajac), father Ronald Ismar and step dad Leonard Mendez, uncles and aunts, Daniel Zajac, Jerome and Marlene Barnas (nee Zajac),  William Ismar, Kathy Ismar (nee Mlynarski), Mike and Bonnie Welch (nee Ismar), and numerous cousins.  Grandparents Frank and Victoria Zajac. 

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Jesus, Shepherd of Souls (St Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church): 768 Lincoln Avenue, Calumet City, Illinois 60409.
