Julia Budny, age 95, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away April 18, 2025 at her home with her loved ones at her side. She was born to George and Mary (nee Lehisky) Matrinetz on May 23, 1929 in East Chicago.


Julia is survived by her loving children: Sophie, Georgette and John Jr.; cherished grandchildren: Michelle, Julie, Rosemary, Shawn, Johnathon, Denna and Greg; adored great-grandchildren: Josh, Christopher and Addison; dear sister Sue. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter and son Gregory.
