Joyce Marie Guthrie Alcantar-Lagunas, age 53, of Lake Station, Indiana passed away June 30, 2019. She was born to John V. and Johnnie Sue (nee Walker) Guthrie on February 12, 1966 in Hammond, Indiana who survive her. She is also survived by her husband Joaquin, daughters Alexander and Jaclyn, grandchildren Matthew and Lily. siblings Alma and John Guthrie.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 with a visitation from 4-8 p.m. and a service officiated by Pastor Scott Perry at 7:30 p.m.
