Johnathan Robert Haag, age 48, of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away February 12, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hobart. He was born on January 10, 1977 to Patricia (née Heffner) and Lawrence Haag in Hammond, Indiana.

Johnathan was a loving husband and father. He was a jack of all trades and would help anyone with anything. He had a huge heart.

Johnathan is survived by his wife Thora (nee Vitalone) Haag of Valparaiso, IN; mother Patricia Heffner of Ridgeway, PA; children: Kaylee and Sebastian Haag of Monticello, IN; grandchildren: Rosalina Tucker, Arianna Haag and Magnolia Haag of Monticello, IN; brother Jeffery (Chrystal) Haag of Lake Station, IN; sister Jennifer (Robert) Banjoff of Hebron, IN; and many friends, including his best friend Albert Shupe.

Johnathan was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Haag.

A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 988: 705 Roosevelt Rd
Valparaiso, IN  46383.
