Jaime Martinez Quinonez, age 49, of Hobart, Indiana passed away at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born to Jaime and Eva (née Quinonez) Martinez on April 13, 1976 in Evanston, Illinois.

Jaime is survived by his loving mother Eva; dear sisters: Maria (Flavio) Corral, Erica Martinez, Maricela (Julio) Alvarez, Raquel Martinez and Eva Martinez; numerous adored nieces and nephews. Jaime was preceded in death by his father, Jaime.

Funeral Services will be Monday, August 25, 2025 directly at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church: 2949 Willowcreek Road, Portage, IN  46368 with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.

Proud of his heritage, Jaime found joy in regional Mexican music and spent time watching movies with family. He held a special fondness for animals, most especially horses, and valued the traditions of ranch life. A passionate Chicago Bulls fan, he also loved sharing memories of his youth in the city and enjoyed eating regional foods. Known for his mischievous streak, Jaime will be remembered by the younger generations for pranking his nieces and nephews and being a gifted storyteller.

In his final days, he cared deeply for his mother, watched TV with her and accompanied her to daily mass. Jimmy's presence will be deeply missed.
