Hubert L. Webb, born July 16, 1930 in Section, AL to John L. and Ola Mae (nee Adams) Webb passed away April 1, 2019. He was a longtime resident of Crete, IL. Hubert was the beloved husband of the late Annie Ruth Webb (nee Harper); father of six children: William (Debra) of Cedar Lake, IN, the late David, Laquita (Ed) Wilmart of Lowell, IN, the late Lora Ann, Paul (Sandra) of Crete, IL, and Cathy (Robert) Norvil of Lowell, IN; grandfather of: Chris (Sophie), Greg (Jessica), Melissa (Kevin), Brittany, Jason, the late Michael Wilmart, Ashlee (Drew) Schaafsma, Patrick (Jessica) McKoy, Michael (Vera) Norvil, Kimberly (Robert) Ciston, Crystal (Brandon) Creps; great-grandfather and uncle of many. He was preceded in death by his siblings Dorothy Dover, Nellie Fraiser, Howard, Lela Dover and Bessie Puckett.

Hubert worked as an inspector at Ford Stamping Plant, Ford Heights, IL for 35 years. He and Ruth, along with ongoing church attendance, instilled Christian values into the upbringing of their children. Hubert will be missed by family and friends.

In honor of his wishes, there will be no memorial service locally but will be a graveside service at Greens Chapel, Fyffe, AL on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
