Harry Arthur Weede

Harry Arthur Weede, 65, of Highland passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 21, 2022. He was the loving father and preceded in death by his son John A. Weede who passed away on December 19, 2015; and son Jason Weede; adoring grandfather of Kayla (Bobby) Davenport and Anyessa Weede; great grandfather to Oaklynn Davenport; beloved brother to the late John (Midge) Weede, Florence Cody and Laura (John) Guetschow, and many nieces, nephews, cousins. He was also preceded in death by his parents Robert and Betty Weede.

A memorial services will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Ave, Dyer, IN.

Harry Weede was born on November 5, 1956 to the late Robert L. Weede and Betty E. (Duncan) Weede. He was a lifelong resident of “the region” and graduated from Thornridge High School, Class of 1975. He was a proud employee and retiree from the Ford Motor Co. after many years of service doing the painting job that he loved to do. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and found a special joy in helping to care for and raise his youngest granddaughter Anyessa. Harry was a very social person with a contagious sense of humor that kept others laughing and smiling at the many family gatherings that he truly loved attending. He loved camping in the great outdoors and was also a big Chicago sports fan (Go Cubs! Go Bears!). Devoted to his family, Harry will be missed by all who knew and loved his gentle soul.
