Gregory Frank Wisowaty, age 71, of Lowell, Indiana passed away December 30, 2025 in Lowell. He was born to Leonard and Gloria (nee Leff) Wisowaty Sr. on October 18, 1954 in Hammond, Indiana. 

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and Leonard Wisowaty; his son, Alexander Wisowaty; and his sisters, Kathy and Carrie Lundstrom.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra; his brother, Leonard “Lenny” Wisowaty (Michelle); and his daughters, Stacie and Tracy. Greg was a proud grandfather to Tanya, Tristyn, and Kaitlynn, and step-grandfather to Edward (EJ). He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Louie, Lusenzo, Luke, and Micah, and step-great-grandchildren Hayden and Harper, all of whom loved him dearly.

Greg was formerly married to Sharon, and together they had three children: Stacie, Tracy, and Alexander. Alexander passed away in 1993, and Greg now joins him in eternal rest.

Greg worked for many years as a poker dealer and was known as the life of the party, with a big heart and a larger-than-life presence. He had a colorful life and a story for every occasion, and those memories will live on through the people who loved him.

In the last five to ten years of his life, Greg devoted himself to making things right with God. His faith became important to him, and it brought him peace. Not one day went by that he wasn't singing and praising Jesus. The family takes comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with Alexander and rests in God’s care.
