Geraldine Marie Dvojacki (nee Kleinaman) “Geri” Obituary

Geraldine “Geri” Dvojacki, 91, of Crown Point, IN passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, March 7th, 2025. She was born January 20th, 1934 in South Chicago to the late Edward and Sophie (Koronkowski) Kleinaman.

In her younger years, Geri was an avid bowler, loved dancing, enjoyed playing the slots, and was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary Polish Legion of American Veterans. Geri worked for various companies throughout her life. Her longest career was working for “At Home America” (previously Country Peddlers Company of America). Geri finally retried at the age of 83, after working for local school systems. She worked at Merrillville School System as a cafeteria worker and for Crown Point School System as a crossing guard. In her retirement, Geri spent her time caring for her cousin, the late Richard (Richie) Gorski. Geri has always had a love for animals, but especially cats. She leaves behind her beloved, “Kitty”, who gave her great joy and companionship.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sophie Kleinaman. She is survived by her two children Diane Dvojacki and David (Linda) Dvojacki; her five grandchildren Rosie Dvojacki (Joey Wooten), Dominique Dvojacki (Mike Alvarado), Stormmi-Angelica Dvojacki, Lucas Dvojacki, and Drake Dvojacki; and one great-granddaughter Lillyann Wooten.
