Florence Reczek (nee Godlewski) Obituary

Florence Reczek (nee Godlewski), age 95, a lifelong resident of Calumet City, Illinois, passed away July 26, 2020. Florence was soft-spoken, kind-hearted and never missed a holiday or someone’s birthday. She is preceded in death by her husband, Anton “Tony”; brothers: Edward and Leonard. Florence is survived by her loving sons: Michael (Connie) and Bob (Karyn); adored grandchildren: Michael (Colleen), Catherine (Jason), Nick, Mark and Matthew; precious great-grandchildren: Emily and Michael; numerous dear nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services are private.

Florence was a member of the St. Andrew Ladies Rosary Confraternity, St. Andrew Sunshine Club, AARP and American Legion Post 369 of East Chicago, Indiana.
