Ellen Grace Voce (nee Canna)

Ellen Grace Voce (née Canna), age 94, of South Holland, Illinois passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020. She was born to Annunziato and Francis (née Pastore) Canna on September 12, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her adored daughter Suzanne Voce and many special nieces, nephews, godchildren and life-long friends. Ellen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, James D. Voce. 

Due to the Covid 19 restrictions at the church, Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be private however all are invited to gather directly at Assumption Cemetery: 19500 S Cottage Grove Avenue, Glenwood, IL 60425 on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. for Interment Services.

Ellen served as night pastoral secretary at Holy Ghost Catholic Church for 30+ yrs. She enjoyed working out with the seniors over that same period of time in South Holland. Ellen loved celebrating with family and friends, and no party was complete without her famous chocolate cake and homemade Italian cookies.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Marionist Mission and National Shrine of St. Jude (https://shrineofstjude.org) appreciated.
