Dianne Marie Wright (née Jamka), age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Arnold A. Wright.

She was the devoted mother of William A. Wright, Deanne M. Piunti, Denise D. Grant, and Sean J. Wright. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Joshua, Olivia (Noah), Jared, Brandon, Zachary, and Chloe, and a cherished great-grandmother to Scarlett, Harper, and Lily, who brought her great joy.

Dianne is also survived by her siblings John Thill of Las Vegas and Ann (Leonard) Dykstra of Knox, along with many loving nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind dear family friends Bonnie and Stan Rzonca and their daughters Nicole and Kate, who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann (Barrett) Jamka and Theodore Jamka, and her siblings James Thill and Theodore Jamka.

Dianne, lovingly known as “Poppy,” had a heart as big as her spirit. She was an incredibly loving, caring, and selfless mother, grandmother, and friend who always put the needs of others before her own. If someone needed help, comfort, or simply a place to belong, Dianne was always there. There was never a stray person or animal she wouldn’t welcome with open arms.

She was known for her toughness, spunk, and contagious laughter, bringing joy to those around her. Dianne especially loved the holidays and had a special gift for making Christmas and Easter magical for her family. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and traditions that will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Though she will be deeply missed, the love, kindness, and memories she created will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Ave., Dyer, IN 46311. Cremation will follow.

Dianne’s strength, warmth, and endless love for her family will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
