Dennis L. Haney, age 85, of Crown Point, formerly of Warsaw and Whiting, Indiana peacefully passed away September 17, 2024. He was born to Paul E. and Emily (née Walton) Haney on May 30, 1939 in Tinley Park, Illinois.

Dennis is survived by his beloved daughters Amy (Kevin) Thacker and Kim Haney and stepchildren Janet Kubik and Joseph (Jill) Kubik; cherished grandchildren: Hunter, Vince, Samantha, Nikolas, Jake, Anthony, Cole and Ava; dear sisters: Sharon (Ray) Klein, Lori (Kirk) Parker and Paula Haney; numerous special nieces and nephews including adored niece Jill Creviston.

Dennis was preceded in death by his first wife Janet Haney and his second wife Jane Kubik Haney.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer Indiana 46311 with a visitation from 3-6 p.m.

Dennis retired from BP Amoco Oil Company. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus with Council 4511. Dennis enjoyed fishing and was an avid Detroit Lions fan.
