Dawn Marie Hanley (née Manley)

Dawn Marie Hanley, age 44, of Gary, Indiana passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. Her proudest accomplishment in her life are her 3 children. She had to be strong her whole life. She finally gets to rest.

She is survived by her 3 children: Sara J. Hanley, Sharon M. Higginbotham and Damian J. Higginbotham; her long time partner David Higginbotham; Sara’s father Gregory C. Hanley; her father Michael J. Manley Sr. (Aloma); beloved aunt Gale Broadbent; 3 brothers and 1 sister; her mothers-in-law: Sandra Hanley and Rose Romero; many aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon A. (née Barry) Manley, her beloved honey and grandpa: Patsy Jean and Francis Manley, and 3 siblings: Rick, Kimberly and Angelica.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 with a visitation from 2-6 p.m.
