David John Conlee Obituary

David John Conlee, age 67, of Griffith, IN passed away April 16, 2026 in Munster, IN with his loving wife, Linda, by his side.   David was the son of Williams J and Fortunetta M Conlee born January 9, 1959 in East Chicago, Indiana.


David is survived by his loving wife Linda, his son Eric Conlee (Josabeth), his daughter Rachael Conlee and stepson Justin (Toni) Banfield.  His siblings  Maureen (Rich) Sartini, William L. (Michu) Conlee, Fortunetta (James) Brack, Michael (Deborah Evans ) Conlee, Robert Conlee and Mark (Debra) Conlee.  His grandchildren, Ragnar, Torbin, Anthony, Logan, Nicoli and Micah. Numerous family members and friends He is preceded in death by his parents, Williams J. Conlee and Fortunetta M (Murray) Conlee.


David proudly served his country with United States Marine Corps.  He also spend numerous years volunteering with the Lansing Copper Muggers, the Lansing Honor Guard.  David loved serving  his country and his community.  He was thoughtful, giving, funny, loved fishing, being with his grandchildren, family , friends  and had a great contagious laugh.


A private burial with Military honors will be held May 28, 2026 at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.   Arrangements entrusted to Castle Hill Funeral Home in Dyer,
