Hush, world
Today isn't for traffic or telephones, or long waits in line.
Today is for fresh air, peace, a bit of solitude, a deep breath.
Today is for smiles and tears, for warm embraces, quiet reflection, and small comforts.
Be gentle world, someone special has left us in life, and today is
for remembering him.

In memory of my cousin. Life is too short.  We need to embrace those in our lives, and enjoy what God has given us.

Many years ago after Dave finished a gig with Chicago Push back in my hometown of Cleveland, I introduced myself and asked for some "tips" since I was just beginning to learn the concertina. Dave gladly sat down with me while the other members of the band tore down and packed up the van. He spent over an hour with me Jammin'' and just being helpful. Later when I was a member of Frankie Liszka and the Brass Connection, I ran into Dave at the USPA convention and he gave me one of the nicest compliments about my playing I have ever heard. It is with a heavy heart that I say Rest In Peace Dave. I can''t thank you enough for all the smiles you brought to so many people on and off the stage. Prayers to the entire Bruzdinski family at this very sad time. God Bless all of you.

I extend my sincere and deepest sympathy to Aunt Therese, the entire Bruzdzinksi family, and to the many friends whose live''''''''''''''''s David touched. David and his music (and his fathers) contributed to most of my happy childhood memories, and on the few occasions I had the opportunity to hear him play as an adult I was in awe of his talent and personality.
