Darless Nell Simon, age 92, formerly of Calumet City, Illinois passed away October 21, 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born to the late Edward L. and Zella B. Marshall Kilgore on May 22, 1932 in Nicklesville, VA.

Darless is survived by her 2 of her beloved daughters: Jerri Ann Simon Macaluso and Darless Sue Simon Leonard; cherished 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; and dear sister Mary Deloris Kilgore. She was preceded in death by 2 of her children: Terry Lee Simon and Sandra Kay Simon.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248 155th Place, Calumet City, Illinois 60409 at 11:00 a.m. followed by Interment Services at Oakland Memory Lanes in Dolton, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) in her memory are appreciated.
