Christina Haim was born on March 1st, 1946 to Frank and Karolina Haim, and peacefully went home to be with her Heavenly Father on June 23rd, 2024, at the age of 78. She was born in Hohenfels, Germany, and moved to Chicago, IL with her family in 1949. Christina was the youngest of five children and spent much of her life in Lansing, Illinois, where she raised her family and later cared for her grandson Aaron.

Professionally, Christina was a real estate agent until her son Christopher became terminally ill, he lost the battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 11. Despite personal tragedies, including the loss of her grandson Aaron in an accident, Christina found fulfillment in caring for others, particularly the elderly and mentally disabled at L.A.R.C. Even after retiring, she remained devoted to helping those in need.

In 2017, Christina moved to Lowell, IN to be closer to her children. It was there that she met Kenneth Vickers, who she referred to as “the love of her life” and she married him on May 7th, 2023, after decades of vowing never to remarry.

Throughout her life, Christina's unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was central. She actively shared her faith and believed in the transformative power of God's grace. Christina is survived by her husband Ken, children David, Laura, Jennifer, and Angelique, 11 grandchildren, Amanda, Ron, Christopher, Kyle, Joshua, Julian, Noah, Christina, Andrew, Shayne and Sarah and 1 great-granddaughter, Sophia Grace and her elder sister Jania.

Christina's legacy is marked by her love for the Lord and her dedication to spreading the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Her life was a testament to faith, compassion, and service to others.
