Christie S. Signorelli (née Sparling), age 51 of Hammond, IN, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025. She was previously married to Marcus Signorelli, with whom she shared her beloved daughter, Christina Signorelli. She is survived by her daughter, as well as her loving parents Robert F. Sparling and Marzia R. Sparling (née Stevanato), siblings Michael (Shirley) Sparling and Dawn (née Sparling) Kohn - wife of Matthew Kohn. Uncles: Robert Stevanato & Robert Triplett; and Aunts: Sandy (née Stevanato) Caloca - wife of Victor Caloca, Flori (née Zus) Smith - wife of Mike Smith, Diane (née Zus) Kuzera, and Debbie Zus. Cousins: James, Carrie (Eisermann), Lori, Mikey, Carrie (Smith), Cathy and Joey; Nephews and Nieces: Ryan, Alex, and Stella. And numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Christie was preceded in death by her loving Grandfathers: Robert G. Sparling and Virgilio N. Stevanato; and Grandmothers: Rose (née Piazza) Sparling, Ines (née Beggiora) Stevanato and Adelia (née Zus) Stevanato. Also preceded in death by parents-in-law Katherine Signorelli-Kidd and Arthur L. Kidd Jr; brothers-in-law Daniel Signorelli and Michael (Wilna) Signorelli; and Aunt Carol (née Sparling) Eisermann-Triplett, and Uncle Danny Zus.

Christie attended Munster High School. She had a deep love for arts and crafts, music, and comedy, where she was known as a master comedian who brought laughter wherever she went. Above all, she found true joy in the simple things in life and shared that joy freely with those around her. In honoring her memory, the family hopes to bring awareness to the challenges many quietly face and encourage empathy, support, and meaningful conversations that can help others feel less alone. May Christie’s memory encourage kindness, open hearts, and a hope for healing.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on January 9, 2026 at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana 46311 with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Deacon Dan followed by Interment Services at St. John/St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana.
