Chester S. Palusiak, age 72, of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025. He is survived by his loving siblings: Anna (Boguslaw) Kaczmarek, Helen (Jeff) Mazur, Casimira (late Raymond) Bilinski, Josephine Palusiak, Ursula (Stefan) Yanef; and dear friend: Patrick Owens.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents: Waclaw Palusiak and Pelegia Palusiak (nee Jankowska); siblings: Maria (surviving husband: John) Kaczmarek; Lucy Morikis, Roman (surviving wife: Maritza) Palusiak. 

Funeral services will be Monday, March 10, 2025 at 9:45 a.m. from Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248 155th Place Calumet City, IL 60409 to St. Andrew the Apostle Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial followed by Interment Services at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 3-8 p.m. and Monday morning from 8:45 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. 

Chester served his Church as a bus minister and transported children in the neighborhood to and from services. He would even treat the children to a meal; at his own expense before taking them home.  Chester was humble, kind and most of all thoughtful.
