Charles John Klimek Jr., age 62, of Calumet City, Illinois passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. He was born to Charles J. and Karen (nee Krygoski) Klimek Sr. on May 11, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana.

Chuck worked as a machinist for many years and took pride in his craft. Outside of work, he enjoyed tattooing and a wide range of creative and hands-on interests.

He is survived by his children, Stacey Wines (Christopher), Ashley Good (Jeremiah), Charles Klimek III, and Hunter Klimek; his grandchildren, Ryder and Autumn Wines, and Sebastian Good; and his sister, Diannah Krueger, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Karen Klimek, and his brother in law Frank Krueger. 

Chuck enjoyed outdoors, camping and fishing, playing guitar, tattooing, painting, reading, and he was a car enthusiast and so much more. Above all, he valued spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his strength, faith, sense of humor, and strong work ethic. He had a deep passion for his hobbies, always enjoyed learning new things, and took great pride in his grandchildren. His presence will be missed more than words can express. He will live on in our hearts and memories. 

Per Chuck’s request, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
