Cecelia Kristl Lisiecki (nee Pilasnewski)

Cecelia Kristl Lisiecki (nee Pilasnewski), age  86, of Dyer, IN; formerly of Calumet City, IL passed away March 18, 2020. She was born February 20, 1934 to the late John and Sophie (nee Sakaski) Pilasnewski. she was preceded in death by first husband, Edward Kristl, & second husband Harry Lisiecki, & sisters Florence & Stella. Cecelia was the loving mother to Deborah (Rex) Sirbek, Denise (David) Jones, & Michael (Christine) Kristl; blessed to be grandmother to Kristyn “The Poonch” (Glenn) Sirbek-Kok, Michelle (Robert) Ostrowski, Michael (Ashlei) Jones, & Mark & Stephanie Kristl; delighted in being great-grandmother to Patrick Zakarias, Lucas, Rynnoah, & Zachary Ostrowski & Harper, Hadley, & Hazel Jones. Also, aunt to many nieces & nephews, & dog owner to Lola & Trixie.

Services are private. 

Ceil worked at Misch Bros in Calumet City for over 30 years & occasionally came across her beloved customers in her daily activities. She enjoyed polka dancing at Club 505 & going to various casinos. She enjoyed playing Rummikub, dominos, & other games with her family. Ever the chatty cathy, people fondly enjoyed hearing her tell them, “Luv ya.”
