Billy Lynn Buchanan Obituary

The family of Billy Lynn Buchanan, age 70, of Miller, Indiana, is saddened to announce his passing on Sunday,  November 23, 2025 with his family by his side.

Born on May 11, 1955 in Greenville, Tennessee to William and Edith Buchanan. Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a true outdoorsman. From a young age, he found calling in the quiet serenity of a remote fishing spot and the thrill of a crisp morning spent in a deer stand. He was an avid hunter and fisherman with a deep passion for wildlife and nature. His happiest moments where spent sharing his love for outdoors with his family including his brother, son, grandson and nephews at Willow Slough.

He is survived by son William Buchanan (Belinda), daughter Dina Buchanan (Jason); grandchildren: Nicole, Dillon (Ashley), Brianna (Mike), Kariee (Gabe), Katelynn (Matthew), Chance, Shane (Gisselle) and many great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Rose, brother Ricky, parents Edith and William, half brothers: Forest, Willis, Ronnie, Homie and half sister Arvela.
