Mr. Billy Joe Kirkland passed away on September 4, 2018 in Munster, Indiana at the age of 72.

Billy is survived by his life partner Sheila Maynard, sons John (Lynn) Kirkland and Charlie (Bea) Kirkland, grandchildren Alyssa, Anna, Charlie Jr., Kylie, 2 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters Ronald Jack Kirkland, Judy Kirkland, Karen (Gene) Allen-Larken, Jeannie (Joe) Hallock, Tom (Kim) Allen, Roxy Allen, Larry Allen, Linda (Keith) Collins, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Billy is preceded in death by father Johnel Kirkland, mother Helen Allen, step-father Marion Allen, son Billy Dean Kirkland, brothers James Allen and Jack Kirkland, sister Sharon Ramos, and mother of his children Janice Kirkland.

A remembrance dinner is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday September 15th 2018 at Black Oak Eagles 7229 W 25th Ave. Gary, IN 46406. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Billy’s life.
