Bernadette P. Sadowski, age 93, of Calumet City, Illinois passed away February 1, 2025 in Munster, Indiana. She was born to the late Peter and Elizabeth (nee Gloza) Soczyk on May 20, 1931.

Bernadette is survived by her loving children: Neal (Lynn) Sadowski, Rebecca (Timothy) Bailey and Monique (Frank Saelens) Sadowski; cherished grandchildren: Daniel (Alesia) Sadowski, Kaila Bailey, Cade Bailey and Harrison Bailey; numerous dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel, and her siblings Leona (John) Jaranowski, Elsie (Scotty) Kopercinski, Ann (Ted) Zolmer, Henry (Tess) Soczyk and Loretta (Whimpy) Urbanik.

Funeral Services will be Friday, February 7, 2025 with a visitation at Castle Hill Funeral Home: 248 155th Place, Calumet City, Illinois from 9:30-10:45 a.m. followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Church and Interment Services at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Bernadette graduated from St. Andrew’s Grade School and Bishop Noll High School. Bernadette passed away peacefully at home with her loving family at her side in her final moments. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she led a life filled with kindness, integrity and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her legacy of love, laughter and generosity will live on in all those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
