Barbara M. McBride

Barbara M. McBride, age 78, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of Lynwood, Illinois passed away March 10, 2022 in Dyer, Indiana. 

She was a loving mother, survived by her children: Kim (Mike) Clark, Doug Howell, Ronda Howell and proceeded in death by her daughter Lisa Howell (Fleming).

Barbara was a grandmother who adored her grandchildren: Melissa, Tristan, Jeremy, AIisha, Dekkar, Britney, and Lexie as well as her precious great Grandchildren: Brandon, Bryana, Bryan, Kali, Jolie, Bryce, Tristan, Emma, Jett and Morrigan. Barbara was from a large family of twelve brothers and sisters, along with many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Barbara was a hardworking, strong willed and very determined woman! She was truly one of the kindest and most giving people you could meet. Nearly everyone who met Barb called her “mom” or “grandma”. She consistently helped anyone in need and was always willing to lend a hand. Her grace, her beauty and her beautiful heart will be greatly missed on this earth. We know she is flying with the angels.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Thursday May 12, 2022 at Castle Hill Funeral Home (1219 Sheffield Ave Dyer, IN 46311) with a Memorial Service from 3:00 - 7:00pm.
