Barbara Thomsen, 71, of Beecher, IL, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2024.
Barb is survived by her loving husband, Anthony, and her children Chasidee (Javier) and Edward (Ashley). Her grandchildren Danielle (James), Javier, Edward, Connor and Kara. Her great- grandchildren Koa and Miko. We cannot forget to mention her favorite, Bourbon, her doggie.
Barbara was a strong-willed spitfire who was stubborn at times, but those traits did not define her. Her enormous heart, immeasurable strength and fun-spirited soul made her one of a kind.
She was an avid reader and a horror fanatic. Barbara loved watching her favorite television shows and movies repeatedly. She would have been a storm chaser if given the opportunity.
Her family was everything to her. She looked forward to visits and gatherings. Whether it was hanging with Tony in the garage or barbecuing with the whole crew, those were the times she genuinely cherished the most.
She will be sorely missed. How lucky are we to have someone so special that makes saying goodbye so hard. We will feel her absence but will forever cherish the treasured memories we've made.
Her family envisions that she is enjoying a cocktail and a smoke in front of a slot machine surrounded by all, but one (Paul Jr.) of her siblings that she missed ever so much.
