Anthony R. Schweitzer “Tony” Obituary

Anthony "Tony" R. Schweitzer - Age 66 of Calumet City, IL passed away peacefully in his home on September 28th. He was a loving husband for 31 years to Darlene (nee Duggan). Loving father to Melissa (TJ Olson) Schweitzer, Elizabeth (Royce) Bialon, Meaghan and Katie Schweitzer. Son of the late Ray and Theresa (nee Falvo) Schweitzer. Brother to Allen (Carol) Schweitzer and MaryAnn Schweitzer. Beloved nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, and uncle to many and friend to almost everyone he ever met.

Tony worked for the Union Pacific and Canadian National Railroads and the Napleton Auto Group (previously River Oaks Lincoln/Mercury). He was a member/Assistant Director of Calumet City's ESDA program for many years.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be private at the request of the family.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
