Angel Lopez passed away to be reunited with his brothers and sisters in the company of Jesus on Thursday, January 23, 2020.
He was a retired electrician, after 42 years of service, from the Illinois Central Railroad and honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rosa; Son, Angel, Daughters, Myrna Flores, Alma Aguirre, and Marisa Roche, Grandchildren; Marcos Flores, Alejandro Flores, Christina Novak, Ruben Aguirre, Julian Aguirre, Jaime Aguirre, Daniel Aguirre, Angel Lopez III, Rachel Murray, Rosalie Lopez, and Dominick Lopez, and Great-Grandchildren Sebastian Aguirre Cisneros, Gabriel Flores, Geneva Flores, Antonella Flores, Catalina Novak, Joaquin David Novak, Vanessa Murray, River Murray, and Miles Lopez.
A mass in his honor is to be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 10:00 AM at St. Anne’s Parish. The Veterans of America have scheduled a ceremony at 9:30 AM at the same church to celebrate his service and dedication. Saint Anne’s Church
