On March 2, 2024, Andrew S. Trichak, Jr., 57, of Chicago, IL, passed away surrounded by his wife, three sons, his mother, and brother and sisters and their families. His last two years with colon cancer were lived courageously, filled with both prayer and optimism.

Born on the Eastside of Chicago, the 4th of 8 children, Andrew had a life full of love and happiness. Shortly after Mary and he wed in 1995, they moved to Phoenix, AZ, where they raised three sons and built a community of friends and family.

Andrew, Drew, Andy, JR - Whatever you called him - To know him was to know you were loved. His warm spirit, love for life, family, friends, and God were hallmarks of his character. While we miss him already, we know he’s shining down upon us with his positivity and a smile that could light up a room (and hopefully with his feet kicked up, beer in hand, watching the Cubs win a World Series).

Andrew is survived by his wife of 28 yrs, Mary and his children Andrew, Joshua, and Zachary; His mother, Jacqueline and his brothers and sisters: Victoria Czajkowski (Stan), Bradley Trichak (Jaci), Sheila Jurczyk (Walter), Daniel Trichak (Julie), Jonathan Trichak (Cindy), Lisa Thompson (John), and Mary Saggus (Jim); As well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by only two weeks by his father, Andrew, who undoubtedly ushered him home.
